Punk hair cut, please?

I would really like to get a short punk hair cut (something I can spike, not shaved). I'm more than open to dying it, but I really need a ref. picture to show the hair stylist. Oh, and I'm a female. :p Thank 'e muchly.

If you get the short, choppy, shaggy look. It isn't that hard to style.

Just straighten.

Apply hair wax (not the type that rips your hair out).

Garnier Fructis have one called "Surfers Gel". Its great.

Flick out bits of hair, twist some, push hair one way and the other. Make it messy, yet neat.

Give it a good hairspraying too.

You can always tease/backcomb as well.

The coolest punk hair I ever saw was on a sollow, pale girl with full, curly shoulder-touching length hair (it was cutt into a poofy- like bob) and it was died very light blue, almost white.
