I had my hair cut yesterday and its too short help!?

I went to a new salon yesterday and took a picture of the hair cut I wanted but its been cut way too short! I didn't really realise until I got home! The ends of my hair were in a bad way due to hair dye but I feel as if I have been scalped! Should I go back and say something...I doubt there is much that they can do! Guess I just have wait for it to grow! Any thoughts on this?

You could try extensions otherwise maybe go back to the salon and ask them if they have any ideas on how to make the hairstyle work for you in the meantime - it may take a bit to get used to it. They may also have some tips eg. products or using bobby pins,just styling the new cut in a different way. Otherwise - wear a hat or beani and be thankful that you have hair and know that HAIR GROWS hehe!GOOD LUCK!

how about extensions, either the glue in ones or the clip in ones which u can take out whenever u want? thats what ive got as my hair dont seem to grow either lol

I think your right. I don't think there is much they can do about it. The good news is your sould be really healthy now and should grow back pretty quick. Maybe you might get used to it.

Don't go back there again if your not confident in what they did though.

theres not really alot they can do once the hair has been cut off. I know ive been in this situation before im sure most people have dont worry it'll grow quicker than you think x

Have you ever thought that they may have cut it shorter to allow it to grow to the style you want and may have done you a favour by cutting out all the damaged hair you say you had.

it takes atleast a week for the hair to settle down after a haircut.

meanwhile just use a serum and style it minimally.

if its too short u cant do much about it other than waiting.

the only thing you can do is either get hair extensions or wait for it to grow back. you could always go back to the hair dressers and complain and maybe they would offer to do the hair extensions cheaper.

Keep Washing it. Hair stretches when it's washed. Frequently washed hair grows more quickly.

there's many proucts u can use to give volume. try a root lifter and blow upside down then bump ends w/ a curling iron. also, highlight w/ foils just around face...it'll create illusion of longer hair... sorry but you really get what you pay for... DEFINATELY complain ...atleast they'll offer up the products to maintain until you grow out! good luck... sincerely.

dont say some thing to them now as it will not help your hair to grow. but talk to them on your next hair cut so that they will do some thing what you want.

But my suggestion as a Man. I wish you to grow your hair as long as possible, b'cause it is very beautifull to see a girl/women with long hair. send me your photograph if possible after growing it longer.

You can't put back the hair they cut off,but it's not to late to get your money back. Go back to the salon and complain,don't forget to take the picture with you.

I know how you feel. I had my long hair destroyed several times by hair stylists. I've been letting mine grow out for nine months now,but I can't do anything with it. It's so messed up from the shredding she did,I already know I will have to have it cut kind of short if I ever want hair that actually looks decent.

clip on extensions, which almost look like your own hair if clipped on properly. You just have to match your colour/choose the colour you want. Its real human hair as well. depending on which country you are ; just put clip on hair extensions in the search and order.

theres only 2 weeks between a good and a bad haicut! if you are really not happy go back ,see if they can put some short extensions in for you ( for free, obviously!) say the words "legal action" and watch them squirm!

You can go back and talk to them. Maybe have a solution for it ready yourself, so that you can suggest it to them if they do not come up with anything. They probably will say that the hair is too short now, but maybe you can get a free treatment out of it, like colouring or hair mask.

You could try the clip in hair to make it longer for the time being. That is better for your hair.

there's nothing much that can be done, especially if you go back to the same salon.. don't waste your breath.. i suggest going to a more reputable hair salon or a hairstylist you trust, to ask for a second opinion on what can be done.. there are so many things that be done these days to remedy a bad haircut.. maybe you get some waves or straighten your hair, get extensions, highlight it to give it more dimensions, get a different hairstyle, or learn how to style your hair in a way that makes it look better.. you need expert opinion.. what have you got to lose, if you don't like what you hear, you don't have to get anything done..
