i know it will look really good on me based on my face shape, and because I had it cut like that a few years ago and I got lots of compliments....BUT....it's not in style any more and i dont think it will be for a very long time (since long wavy hair seems to be the thing right now...) what do you think? should i still get my hair cut like I want? or should i wait....

A part of having style is knowing what lloks good on you an dgoing for it. Take the risk, you could inspire a new style. when "this season's" colors don't work on me I wear what I know does look good and get just as many compliments

You should cut it how you want it. It doesn't matter if it is in style or not. Be your own person. Why would you want to look like everyone else?

Who defines the "style" anyway? Usually underfed, overpaid, undereducated, overindulgent actors or their hairstylists. Why would you want to have anything in common with them anyway?

I do hair for a living, and let me tell you anything goes! as long as you like it thats all that matters. I can not keep straight what is in style and whats not.There are trends but not everyone follows them, and if everyone did wouldn't that be boring!

You bring it back girl it's your style.I had a girlfriend who wore her hair platinum for years and that was her statement.When she wore it it was as you said" in style" with others.But it looked good on her. So the focus was not on it being in style just how well she looked.
