actually i like your hair already. i think it could look good in long layers but with no bangs. bangs can be very unpleasant if done wrong

For a razor, a 1 is the shortest that I use, I assume a Zero is to shave your head, and the higher the number the less hair being cut

i don't know a lot of different sizes but i do know that if you want to cut your hair a lot go to a beauty shop and try on some wigs at that length

I am going to get a hair cut next week. however, i'm gonna dye my own hair also. (i currently have med brown hair, long..mid back, and i plan on going darker).

Get your hair cut first and then dye it. If you dye it first, cutting it cuts off half the color source!

It's always better to dye it before cutting it. Ask any hair cutter, stylist, etc. It's to get rid of split ends, all that stuff that gets damaged from the chemicals.

I am a prof. hairstylist for many years now. If you are going to color it , do it first. That way the stylist will know how much to suggest cutting off. Better yet, have her do the whole job for you. It is more expensive, but not if you screw it up yourself and have to go in and get it fixed and get yet more hair cut off in the process. Just a suggestion.

if you want a strong, and rich, vivid color-cut and then dye. if you want a more fainted-yet noticable dye then cut- but that will give you a layered apearance

Well I cut my hair in June. It is now on the long side, almost as long as miley cyrus's hair except it is naturally stick staright. Its Mid- length back and I have bangs almost to my chin. I was going to let my bangs grow out, but when I recently saw a pic of how it was when it looked like that I changed my mind. Does anyone have a ny ideas??? include pics please!!!

Im NOT wanting it really short, nothing above shoulder length. i was thinking about getting it cut a little lower than shoulder length, but im not sure. i want something different, but i dunno what.

Dunno if you can see it in the picture, probably not, but my hair is, uh, not REALLY thick, but not really thin, so somewhere in between, and its kinda wavy, but not too much. so i need something that will go with that type of hair.

You've a georgous colour, I'd stick with that. Maybe get a feather cut all over, graduated along the face, then it'll still have length, but there's a style there if you have the know how to straighten for nights out and it should be long enough to tie back as well.

A side sweeping fringe would be good on you, where the split is taken from a little further over and the fringe sweeps down. Nice! Good Luck. Nic

Oval is the most ideal shape to have in face or eyes any cut will look good. When in school to become a stylist we were taught to make the face look oval with make-up and cuts. So if you have oval love it and wear what you like. As far as the long oval try a cut that will frame starting at your lower cheek. Try a long layer bob. Maybe put some big curls when styling.
