My hair is quite thick on the top layer and quite thin on the bottom layer. I'm planning to get a razor hair cut ~ ok.. my question is.. will my hair get more thin if i get a razor hair cut?

razor cuts cause dryness frizziness and you have to spend a fortune on proper professional products to keep your hair looking healthy. don't do it. ask for a point cut with scissors. it will give you the jagged ends of a razor cut without the nasty split end side effects of a razor cut.

Just ask your hair dresser to thin your hair out while they cut it. They'll use the razor to get rid of the thickness. It feels MUCH lighter but doesn't look any shorter like layers would do.

it will shorten the overall length slightly...i suggest getting a razor and doing it yourself thats what i do with my hair

look at my pics, the default is a pic of me from yesterday and i can tell you how to get the result....its not a pic with the hair styled but it will give you a general idea...my hair is very fine but very thick so i have to have it cut with a razor to improve the overall shape of my style....
