Doggie hair cut.?

i have 2 rescued dogs. a female 2 year old silky terrier and male 1 year old a maltese.

they had to have their hair nearly all shaved off because it was so matted or because of skin allergies and fungus.

can you please give me website addresses of how a silky and maltese hair cuts should be. or how does your dog looks like? i don't want a show dog cut so much but get more of an idea what would look cute etc.

thanks

Doggie hair cut.?

oh my maltese had matts when i got her too.

I got a puppy cut for mine. the groomers clipper was set to #4 and it turned out really good. short but not shaved and really cute. go to your groomers and ask their oppinion. My groomer showed me the lengths of the clipper #'s. that how i came upon the #4 cut for mine.

good luck : ) they will look cute no matter wat.

Doggie hair cut.?

both should just have the ends trimmed so as to look neat and tidy

Doggie hair cut.?

Here is what a silky terrier and maltese should look like and usually a groomer will shorten the hair, but keep the look of the breed.

The best thing for you to do to avoid a shave down is to get your dogs what most groomers call a "puppy cut". This is when they shorten the hair to what they looked like as a puppy. It's really a cute haircut. Then you should bring your dogs to the groomer every 4-6 weeks for grooming to ensure they fluffy "puppy cut" can be maintained. Brushing at home is always encouraged.

Doggie hair cut.?

NEITHER breed is BUZZED!!!!

BOTH have been bred for CENTURIES to HAVE a LONG SILKY COAT!!!

Buzzing long coated breeds is only for the LAZY %26amp; IGNORANT boobs who can't even manage a COMB!!!

NOT CUT!!! COMBED!!!
