Definitly get long layers but in you hair. I have curly hair and the long layers kept my hair from looking bulky or puffy. It evens it all out!

I suggest you get it cut to approximately half an inch above your shoulder, and straightened. then side swept bands would look GREAT! layers would also look nice, but it's up to you.

If your hair isn't very frizzy, then you can do a layered look, which works for pretty much all hair types.

IF YOU LAYER YOUR HAIR IT WILL ONLY MAKE YOU HAVE MORE CURLS. I WOULD NOT CUT IT.

TRY THE LAYER'S FIRST.

ALSO, YOU CAN ALWAYS THINK ABOUT GETTING IT PERMANENTLY STRAIGHTENED ..... ONLY IF YOU WERE TIRED OF THE SAME OLE CURLY HAIR.
