I have curly wavy hair. about 2 months after cutting it starts getting difficult to maintain?

it won't go straight enough to look tidy, and it's to wavy to look good, i.e. the curls aren't small enough. i work in an office and need to look professional

is there anything i put in my hair to make it look a bit tidier, or tighten up those curls a bit? if i gel it, it goes in big clumps, and bits still stick out unless I use ALOT of curls but i don't want to look like John Travolta in Grease.

At the same time I don't want to have to cut it every 8 weeks. Maybe I could invest in electric clippers?

Can anybody help? I don't know what to do. I haven't got a clue?

In order to maintain your hair you really should get it cut every six weeks.
